God is faithful

Sometimes it is hard to be patient, right? I sure have trouble with patience. But if we wait, God is always faithful, no matter what. We usually want things to come about in OUR timing, not HIS. Everybody struggles with that. Nobody, in his or her sinful, adamic nature, wants to be under authority. We all want to govern ourselves -to be in control. Why is that? Because we are born dead in trespasses and sins. We are born dead, spiritually. God is the only one truly in control. He makes everything come to pass in His timing for His purpose. All we have to do is "wait on the LORD" and He will give us "the desires of our hearts." Isn't that wonderful? If we could truly grasp that, all our worries would be over and all we would be doing is trusting Him. But we are sinners - we always will be in rebellion against God. It is only through Christ that we can be saved and come to repentance for our rebellion.
I've said all that to come to something that God has worked out in our lives, something that we had to wait on Him for. He has finally worked everything out for my Aunt, Uncle, and their family to move down here to Georgia! They had been trying to move down here for quite some time now, but everything had to be in God's timing. Now, it has been His timing, and they are moving down here! God is ALWAYS faithful, even in every situation! One of my favorite verses of all time is this: "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." -Proverbs 3:5 & 6
